Job Summary

The Senior Security Officer is a critical role within Oceaneering, responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our operations. This position requires a high level of expertise in security protocols, risk management, and compliance with government regulations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement security protocols to protect classified information and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into all aspects of our operations.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on security procedures and protocols.
  • Manage and maintain security clearance documentation and ensure compliance with government regulations.
  • Develop and implement incident response plans to address security breaches or other security-related incidents.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as criminal justice, homeland security, or business administration.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a security-related field, with a strong background in risk management and compliance.
  • Working knowledge of government regulations, including the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and the Department of Defense (DoD) National Security Agency (NSA) guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A Top Secret (TS) security clearance with an investigation conducted within the past 5 years.
