Job Title: Multisystemic Therapist

Are you passionate about empowering youth and families to create positive change? MiSide Community Impact Network is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Multisystemic Therapist to join our team in the Detroit Metropolitan Area.

About the Role:

As a Multisystemic Therapist, you will work holistically with families, youth, and their communities to implement the Multisystemic Therapy (MST) model. You will receive ongoing team support, training, and supervision to empower families to address problematic behaviors and help their youth make life-transforming changes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct MST assessments, including reviewing referral information, identifying key participants, and developing an analysis of the fit of problem behaviors within the ecological context.
  • Provide home-based services to youth and their families, addressing delinquent activities, problem behaviors, and anti-social behavior.
  • Implement intensive interventions, such as changing unhelpful family interactions, addressing youth problems with peers and in school, and increasing social support.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling from an accredited school.
  • One year of experience and training in examining, evaluating, and treating minors and their families.
  • Direct use of pragmatic family therapies, such as structural, strategic, and functional therapies.
  • Experience with implementing interventions within or between systems in the youth's natural ecology.
  • Fluency in Spanish preferred.
  • An active State of Michigan professional license (LP, LLP, LPC, LLPC, LMSW, LLMSW).
  • Maintenance of 24-hour Child-Specific Training hours annually for CMHP Credentialing.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a private vehicle for day-to-day job performance.
What We Offer:
  • $52,000 to $58,000 annually (Full-Time/Union).
