About the Role:
The Cambridge Health Alliance Center of Excellence for Child and Adolescent Inpatient Mental Health Care provides comprehensive patient- and family-centered care for diverse youth with mental health needs. As a Behavioral Health Clinician, you will play a critical role in delivering clinical social work services to an average caseload of 7 patients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and treatment planning for children and adolescents with psychiatric conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide services tailored to patients' needs.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including education and support for patients and families.
- Participate in case review conferences and other meetings to ensure comprehensive care.
- Complete psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and other required documentation.
- Provide clinical supervision for social workers and interns as needed.
- Make referrals to community agencies and assist patients with applications and follow-up.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in social work
- Current licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, or LICSW
- Minimum of two years post-Master's degree experience in inpatient psychiatry or relevant population
- Successful completion of a job-specific physical agility test
