Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Tower Health. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and appropriateness of medication orders, compounding medications, and providing prescribed medications according to professional standards and specific indications or orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Validate medication orders and ensure accuracy and appropriateness
  • Compound medications and provide prescribed medications according to professional standards and specific indications or orders
  • Provide consultative services to internal and external constituents regarding medications, interactions, and other drug-related information
  • Follow defined medication-related protocols, policies, and procedures
  • Document clinical activities and applicable outcomes
  • Achieve and maintain satisfactory working relationships with pharmacy leadership, pharmacy staff, and other hospital departments, committees, and administrators
Requirements
  • Doctorate degree in pharmacy or combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of Doctorate degree
  • Relevant experience in clinical pharmacy practice
  • Board eligible for Pennsylvania licensure may be accepted in lieu of actual license; PA Pharmacist License required within 4 months of hire date
  • PA Pharmacist License
  • Excellent analytical, collaborative, computer, customer service, detail-oriented, communication, interpersonal, reasoning, multitasking, problem-solving, and team player skills
Work Environment

This is a full-time night position with a 7 on and 7 off schedule. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 PM to 8:30 AM.
