Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the performance of interventional radiology procedures, including angiography, embolization, and tumor ablation.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the interventional radiology suite, including the setup and operation of imaging equipment.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure, positioning the patient, and administering medications as needed.
  • Assist the radiologist during procedures, including injecting contrast media, monitoring patient vital signs, and maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
  • Operate imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and fluoroscopy units.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of interventional radiology procedures and protocols.
Requirements:
  • Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist (CRT) or Registered Technologist (RT) with a specialty in interventional radiology.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
