About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner to lead the global oversight of our Philips' Sleep & Respiratory Care products. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with Engineering, Test, and Business Stakeholders to manage the development, validation, and general support of our devices and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of user needs and business requirements, gathering insights and translating them into software and system requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize features and enhancements based on customer feedback and market trends.
  • Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint goals to ensure successful delivery of product increments.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, acting as a primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding work needed from the team.
  • Facilitate task definition and estimation by working closely with software and test teams to lead building, grooming, and planning the backlog into sprints.
  • Develop long-range plans with stakeholders to identify priorities and forecast resource needs based on project, organizational, and continuous improvement goals.
  • Solve complex problems with cross-functional experts in engineering, design, quality, or regulatory.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or an equivalent discipline.
  • More than 8 years of relevant experience in the industry, with at least 3 years as a Product Owner.
  • Previous experience in both embedded software/testing and the medical device industry, with knowledge of FDA regulations (e.g. FDA CFR part 820, IEC62304, IEC 81001, etc.).
  • Proficiency in JIRA administration, including workflow customization, user management, and reporting.
  • Autonomy in project management, with mastery of the ideation and development process.
