Street Infrastructure Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Road Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Texas State Gov. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our road network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain roads, sidewalks, and curbs to ensure safe and efficient travel.
• Prepare roads for concrete and asphalt patches to extend their lifespan.
• Set up barricades at work sites to warn traffic of potential hazards.
• Assist with sidewalk markings, street signs, and street lights to maintain a safe and well-maintained road network.
• Collect and dispose of tree limbs, weeds, trash, litter, debris, and bulk items to keep our roads clean and free of obstacles.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of experience in road maintenance or a related field.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
