Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mixologist to join our team at Paddlefish Restaurant. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to our guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
  • Set up assigned bars; requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice, and produce.
  • Maintain stock, prepare, cure, and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to ensure product quality.
  • Greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner and take and/or process orders for drinks.
  • Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practice prudent portion control.
  • Check guests at the bar for proper identification and detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws and receive cash from guests, make change, verify validity of charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers are properly executed.
  • Lock up and store all beverage product, food, equipment items, deposits, and cash drops; secure bank.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards and keep work area clean and organized.
  • Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area and wash and sterilize stemware.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of liquor laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for long periods.
