About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Endocrinology Physician to join our team at WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, West Virginia.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, diagnosing and treating endocrine disorders, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, and adrenal disorders
  • Prescribe and manage medications, including insulin and other hormone therapies
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, specialists, and allied health professionals
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in endocrinology
Requirements
  • Board certification in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism
  • Current medical licensure in West Virginia
  • Experience in endocrinology, preferably in an academic or clinical setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
