You will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, aligning our practice with the strategic goals of our organization, and ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered to our patients.

Responsibilities

As a Hospital Medicine Site Medical Director, you will be responsible for:
  1. Providing clinical leadership to our team of physicians and advanced practice providers
  2. Aligning our practice with the strategic goals of our organization
  3. Ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered to our patients
  4. Leading process improvement initiatives and championing tests of change
  5. Coaching providers in their professional development
  6. Engaging in continuous study and utilization of VMPS
  7. Participating in patient safety activities, including safety event reviews and clinical care reviews
  8. Providing written evaluations and verbal feedback to all physicians and APPs assigned to their site annually
  9. Providing recognition to hospitalists for their positive contributions to the group and hospital


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  1. Strong clinical leadership skills
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  3. Ability to work collaboratively with other site directors and hospital medicine leadership team members
  4. Knowledge of clinical documentation improvement and integrity resources
  5. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $306,000 to $380,000 annually, depending on experience and performance, with quality incentives.
