At TriCities Hospital, we are seeking a skilled CT Technologist PRN to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue to aid in medical diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' anatomy
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them for optimal image capture
- Accurately interpret physician scanning instructions and administer contrast materials as needed
- Assist radiologists in administering medication and contrast agents, performing biopsies, and providing patient care
- Prepare examination rooms for CT scans and invasive procedures, maintaining inventory and cleanliness
Requirements:
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Basic Life Support Certification
- ARRT-CT certification preferred, with CT experience a plus
