A leading healthcare organization in California is seeking an experienced Occupational Medicine Physician to provide high-quality patient care for a temporary assignment.
Assignment Details:
- Duration: Several months
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Setting: Outpatient
- Call Requirements: None
- Volume: 25-35 patients per day
- Patient Ages: All ages
Responsibilities:
- Provide quality patient care for work-related injuries and perform pre-placement, DOT, public safety, and surveillance physical examinations
- Conduct routine procedures such as suturing, lacerations, derma bonds, in-grown toenail removal, injections, drug screen collections, and DOT physicals and screenings
- Collaborate with medical assistants and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Utilize Allscripts EMR/Charting system
Requirements:
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility
- Current BLS and DEA certifications
- DOT certification
