About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bus Tire Technician to join our team at Goodyear. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the tires of our city buses are reliable and safe for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform tire maintenance and repairs on commercial buses, adhering to industry standards and Goodyear's quality guidelines.
  • Collaborate with customer staff to accurately document work performed and maintain customer tire inventory.
  • Monitor tire maintenance through periodic inspections, utilizing specialized software and electronic devices.
  • Maintain shop safety and cleanliness through good housekeeping practices.

Requirements
  • High School or GED preferred.
  • Previous commercial tire experience.
  • Ability to perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, including light and heavy lifting, standing, bending, and squatting.
  • Commitment to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner.
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong oral and written communication ability.
  • A self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work without direct supervision.
