Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Provider and Contracts Auditor (Program Analyst 2) to join our Office of Developmental Disabilities Services (ODDS), Operations Administration Unit, part of the Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS).

This role is responsible for monitoring and performing audits on a random sample of agency provider claims for compliance, ensuring agency providers are appropriately contracted, and monitoring ODDS contracts to ensure all contract requirements are met.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a degree related to the agency program, and two years of experience coordinating or administering a program.

Alternatively, any combination of experience or education equivalent to five years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and perform audits on a random sample of agency provider claims for compliance
  • Ensure agency providers are appropriately contracted
  • Monitor ODDS contracts to ensure all contract requirements are met
  • Ensure ODDS has all required documentation needed for contract audits
  • Monitor claim status
  • Assist in resolving payment issues
  • Collect, compile, analyze, and distribute information on approximately $1.5 billion in state-funded community-based services for people with developmental disabilities (DD)
  • Provide technical assistance to providers of DD services and ODDS contract administrators
  • Participate in analyses, development, and improvement of agency's administrative systems DD services
  • Advise management on suspected fiscal improprieties by providers and contractors and on budgetary implications of contract funding

Working Conditions:

The position generally works a standard work week that may involve irregular work hours due to travel. This position may be asked to travel across the state to providers that need a more thorough audit.
