Job Summary

The Recreation Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing, and instructing activities for persons with disabilities in a recreation or school setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in therapeutic recreation, special education, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement activity programs for individuals with disabilities
  • Collaborate with community partners to provide inclusive services
  • Train staff on adaptive techniques and strategies
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience in planning and instructing activities for persons with disabilities
  • A strong understanding of therapeutic recreation principles and practices
  • Ability to work with individuals with diverse abilities and needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A valid driver's license
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
