Join our team as a Brazing Specialist IV on the night shift, where you will play a crucial role in the brazing process for a new production line at our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Machine Operation: Load, unload, operate, adjust, and maintain multiple machines while ensuring optimal performance.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks and maintain cleanliness of machines, including confined spaces.
- Process Adaptability: Be prepared to work on various processes as needed.
- Training and Development: Train and supervise new production associates, providing constructive feedback.
- Target Achievement: Ensure daily targets are met and report any deviations promptly.
- Communication: Collaborate effectively with departments such as Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality.
- Flexibility: Adapt to changing work coverage needs.
- High School Diploma or GED; Technical or Vocational training is advantageous.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in metalworking manufacturing, preferably with cutting tools.
- Familiarity with HMI/CNC interfaces and robotic systems.
- Ability to quickly learn new processes and technologies.
- Experience in setting up machines and measuring devices.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for common machine issues.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures accurately.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime as required.
- Physical stamina to stand and be mobile for extended periods.
- Good hand dexterity and comfort in confined spaces.
- Ability to read and interpret instructions and product prints.
- Capability to lift weights up to 40 lbs.
- Mathematical skills suitable for a machining environment.
- Proficient in using measuring instruments.
- Understanding of machine cleanliness and tool organization protocols.
- Experience operating forklifts and walkie-stackers is a plus.
