General Merchandise Job Description
We have a unique opportunity for an Inbound Operations Expert to join our General Merchandise team. This role involves working with our inbound operations, process efficiency, and inventory accuracy to ensure a consistent guest experience. The successful candidate will lead the replenishment, inventory management, and presentation processes for all General Merchandise areas of the store. This includes working with Food & Beverage and Food Service teams to provide a fresh and safe food experience. As an Inbound Operations Expert, you will own pick, pack, and ship fulfillment work, enabling efficient delivery to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
The typical day for an Inbound Operations Expert may include:
• Creating a welcoming experience for guests by authentically greeting them
• Observing and understanding guest needs, using body language and verbal clues to tailor your approach
• Engaging with guests in a genuine way, asking questions to better understand their specific needs
• Being knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store and specific areas to solve issues and improve the guest experience
• Executing detailed, accurate, and efficient sorting operations, including unload schedule times
• Stocking, backstocking, and zonning product on sales floors
• Maintaining sales floor instocks for General Merchandise categories
• Operating power equipment only if certified and partnering with leaders if certification is needed
• Working with accuracy and attention to detail
• Managing defectives and handling environmentally sensitive items in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
• Working in a safe manner at all times to benefit yourself and others, identifying and correcting hazards, complying with all safety policies and best practices

Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful as an Inbound Operations Expert, you should possess:
• A welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed
• Work both independently and with a team
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
• Climb up and down ladders
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, and holidays) reliable and prompt attendance necessary
• Capable of working in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties
• Remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary)

Estimated Salary: $17.50-$26.25 USD per hour
