Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care under the direction and supervision of the Nurse Manager, utilizing evidence-based practices and adhering to the State Nurse Practice Act, hospital policies, and medical staff directives.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care that address the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and their families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of nursing.
Requirements:
- Current Connecticut RN License
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN required)
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association and proof of Arrhythmia Certification required prior to date of hire
