Job Title: Registered Nurse / Labor And Delivery Department

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Summary

As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to women and newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal stages of childbirth. This includes coaching women throughout the birthing process, monitoring the mother's and baby's vitals, administering medication, and managing potential complications that may arise.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to patients, including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal care
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen saturation
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Provide education and guidance to patients and families on postpartum care and newborn care
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in Labor and Delivery
  • Active RN license
