In this role, you will be responsible for utilizing a company vehicle to travel to various client locations, where you will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems. Success in this position requires the ability to work autonomously, demonstrate exceptional technical and problem-solving skills, and excel in customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Conduct inspections of HVAC and refrigeration equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and branch personnel regarding repair status to maintain schedules and manage expectations.
  • Complete service documentation in accordance with established procedures.
  • Monitor inventory on service vehicles to ensure necessary parts are available.
  • Maintain service vehicles, tools, and uniforms to meet Tech24 standards.
  • Serve as a role model for less experienced technicians by embodying company values.
  • Adhere to all company policies and safety protocols.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Reliable and capable of working independently.
  • Proficient in standard computer applications.
  • Possession of industry-standard hand tools.
  • Ability to work at heights, climb ladders, and navigate confined spaces.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the designated region.
  • Availability for on-call duties during nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn new methods and techniques.
  • Previous experience as a commercial HVAC and Refrigeration technician is essential.
  • Universal EPA certification is highly preferred.
