About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our team at New York Technology Partners. As a Java Developer for High Speed Data Solutions, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing high-performance data-centric solutions using Java and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-speed data processing systems using Java-based frameworks such as Apache Flink, Apache Spark, and Kafka Streams.
  • Develop and maintain large-scale distributed systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and architect scalable solutions.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of software applications using JUnit and other testing frameworks.
  • Work closely with production support teams to resolve issues and improve system stability.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in building high-speed, data-centric solutions using Java and related technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Java fundamentals, including concurrency, multithreading, and memory management.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, such as AWS foundational services (VPCs, Security groups, EC2, RDS, S3 ACLs, KMS, AWS CLI, and IAM).
  • Experience working with distributed message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Amazon Kinesis, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with Java version 8 onwards, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST API.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field.
  • Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in Computer Science, OCP Java SE 8 Programmer Certification, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate Level.

New York Technology Partners offers a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide:
