Job SummaryThe Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist will be responsible for preparing equipment and providing patient care during cardiovascular procedures. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A formal radiologic technology education or training.
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- At least one year of experience working in a cardiovascular imaging department.
