Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified Mathematics Instructor to join our team at Terra State Community College.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching mathematics courses, developing curriculum, and assessing student learning. This is a part-time, adjunct faculty position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach mathematics courses to students of varying skill levels.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with college standards.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback.
  • Stay current with subject matter and instructional methodologies.
  • Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor in the classroom.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Mathematics or Statistics, or related field, with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in mathematics or statistics.
  • Minimum of two years teaching experience required, preferably at the college level.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues.
  • Proficient in technology and software tools that support mathematical computations.
Work Environment

The work environment is a college setting with moderate noise levels.
