Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of surgical patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the physician with the preparation of and the technical aspects of the role of the scrub person during surgical procedures.
  • Perform routine technical and various other duties as required.
  • Maintain and update clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Participate in relevant continuing education programs.
Requirements
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification.
  • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) certification.
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Passionate about patient care.
  • Requires a minimum of two years of current Surgical Technologist experience.
  • Graduate from a fully accredited Surgical Technologist certification program.
  • Active unencumbered Surgical Tech Massachusetts state license.
  • One year of Epic experience.
