Key Responsibilities

Hands-on Architect Experience:

  • Lead the design and implementation of architectural solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Define system architecture, drive architecture discussions, and make informed architectural decisions.

Java/Spring Boot/Microservices:

  • Develop and deploy scalable, cloud-native applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Design and implement microservices architecture, ensuring seamless integration and communication between services.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Public Cloud Environment (GCP preferred, or AWS):

  • Evaluate and recommend GCP services to optimize cloud-based applications and services.
  • Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud-based applications and services, ensuring high availability and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in full-stack development, with a focus on Java, microservices architecture, and cloud-native technologies.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale web application projects from design through to deployment.
  • Ability to lead a distributed team, including onsite and offshore developers, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of API development, RESTful services, and integrations with third-party systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
