Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver Class A to join our team at Core-Mark. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor trailer or straight truck to deliver and/or unload food and food-related products to customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor trailer or straight truck to transport goods across various routes, adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety standards.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and report any safety issues or repairs required.
  • Load and unload products from the trailer, transporting items into designated customer storage areas and verifying delivery of items with customers.
  • Manage paperwork and documentation associated with freight, including count checks and customer invoices.
  • Collaborate with customers and vendors to resolve any issues or concerns related to delivery or product quality.
Requirements
  • Valid CDL-A with at least 1 year of tractor/trailer driving experience.
  • Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
  • Attain or have a valid current DOT Health Card and/or be able to secure a new DOT Health Card.
  • Ability to lift and move product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout the shift.
