We are seeking a highly skilled Assembly Test Technician 2 to join our team at Triumph Group. As a key member of our assembly and test operations team, you will be responsible for performing mechanical assembly, functional tests, and test setups on product lines with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities- Perform all mechanical assembly, functional tests, and test setups on product lines per blueprints and planning with minimal supervision.
- Determine the sequence of assembly operations in conjunction with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Control to optimize the process and achieve maximum productivity and quality.
- Identify functional test applications suitable for computer automation and other opportunities for methods improvement.
- Maintain orderly and retrievable records of work performed and complete records of test setups, shop books, photos, and procedures.
- Work with hazardous chemicals and materials, including paints, sealants, and solvents, and maintain a safe working environment.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years' related experience required.
- General mechanical knowledge and background required.
- Preferred knowledge of advanced hydraulic and electro-hydraulic theory and formula.
