Position Overview:
The Cargo Readiness Support Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the management of MEBA functions while assisting the Cargo Readiness Manager. This position is essential for ensuring the smooth progression of export containers through the CMA CGM networks across the Americas.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations to facilitate the movement of export containers.
- Engage in tactical planning and problem-solving to address challenges.
- Oversee projections and downloads, as well as push/pull tracking.
- Ensure system reconciliation and regulatory tracking/communication of export containers.

Accountabilities:
- Monitor team activities to resolve container incidents and special customer issues promptly.
- Address workforce grievances to maintain a harmonious work environment.
- Manage team performance through evaluations and corrective actions.
- Complete projects within established timelines.
- Train and develop MEBA staff to enhance operational efficiency.
- Proactively identify cargo readiness solutions and resolve issues at water port terminals.
- Maintain accurate records in internal systems.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
- Ensure timely vessel cleanups and monitor dwelling cargo.
- Undertake miscellaneous duties or projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in network and/or terminal operations.
- Experience managing a unionized workforce is preferred.
- Strong computer skills and a focus on deadlines.
- Proficiency in English is required.
