Job Summary

As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services team in Denver, CO.

Responsibilities


  • Prepare for each procedure and/or surgery by ensuring adequate stock and appropriate equipment are available in assigned areas.
  • Assist with post-procedure workload, including cleaning the room between procedures, putting away unused supplies, and setting up for the next procedure.
  • Teach, supervise, and serve as a resource person and delegate in accordance with the competency level of all staff members.
  • Rotate to areas other than OR and perform only those duties that you have demonstrated competency.


Qualifications


  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
  • One (1) year minimum experience in the perioperative (OR) setting is required.
  • ACLS and PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
  • CNOR preferred.

Shift Information


  • 12 Hour Shifts, Would Consider 10 Hours.

Compensation


  • Pay Rates: UP to $50.40/hr. (based on years of experience).
