Key Responsibilities
  • Reduce losses caused by external and internal theft by conducting thorough investigations and implementing corrective actions.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and potential confrontations, ensuring the safety of our employees and customers.
  • Conduct regular security patrols to identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Monitor security systems, including CCTV and alarm systems, to prevent loss of merchandise, damage to property, or injury to employees.
  • Control access to our facilities, screening all incoming and outgoing traffic to ensure only authorized personnel have access.
  • Participate in internal theft investigations, following established guidelines and procedures.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound trailers at the security gate to ensure safe operations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience in a loss prevention role preferred.
  • Ability to work extended periods, up to 8 hours per day, 6 or 7 days a week.
  • Must be able to walk and stand for 8 hours or more a day, especially during high-activity periods.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse responsibilities and teams.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic math functions.
  • Ability to work under demanding time constraints and workflow.
