Millwright Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Millwright Foreman to join our team at TIC - The Industrial Company. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning, laying out, installing, and aligning equipment and machinery in accordance with all plans, specifications, tolerances, and industry standards.

• Plan and diagram millwright work, ensuring accurate measurements and alignments.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble, align, and install machinery, as well as prepare foundations for grouting and machinery placement.
• Verify inventory of equipment/machine components, check accuracy of line and grade of existing foundations, and establish proper elevation of subsole and sole plates.
• Properly torque equipment and machinery, rig equipment, and direct crane operators on placement.
• Dismantle machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools, and move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
• Assemble and install equipment, align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, micrometers, and plumb bobs.

• High school diploma or equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or a related area.
• Working knowledge skills and abilities for the position.
• Ability to understand, follow, and transmit written and oral instructions, and communicate effectively with management/supervision.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and layout tools safely and efficiently.
• Able to meet all physical requirements, work outdoors in all weather conditions, and work overtime, nights, and weekends as required by the workload.
• Observe and comply with all safety and project rules.
