About the Role

KurzSolutions is seeking a highly skilled Dental Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch dental care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Meet with patients to discuss and treat dental concerns, performing regular cleanings and other preventative procedures.
  • Perform dental procedures, such as extractions, root canals, and filling cavities.
  • Correct bite issues and overcrowding.
  • Apply helpful agents to teeth, such as sealants or whiteners.
  • Prescribe medications for dental problems, such as pain medications or antibiotics.
  • Give clients sedatives or anesthesia prior to administering treatments.
  • Order diagnostic measures, such as x-rays, models, etc.
  • Use tools, such as drills, probes, brushes, or mirrors, to examine and treat teeth and mouth.
  • Keep records relating to the oral health of patients and the treatments given to them.
  • Manage and communicate with other staff members to provide care to patients.
Requirements
  • Must have Doctor of Medical in Dentistry (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.
  • Must be a graduate from an accredited dental school approved by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association (ADA).
  • Specialty Dentist must be a graduate of a dental specialty training program that is accredited by the CODA or the ADA or an accepted equivalent program.
  • Certification: Board eligible or board certified as required.
  • Experience: As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the Service Specific Credentialing instruction.
  • Shall have a minimum of one (1) full year experience being employed on a full-time basis in the practice of dentistry, or be a recent 1-year graduate of an accredited, post-graduate dentistry training program.
  • Must have a current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a dentist.
