About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Technician to join our team at CAES. As a Test Technician, you will be responsible for performing operational tests and determining product acceptability and quality on a wide variety of medium to complex electronic developmental and production components, subassemblies, and stems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Determine and may develop test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams to ensure conformance, performing rework as required.
  • Prepare technical reports, summarize findings, and recommend solutions to technical problems.
  • Assist in selecting and setting-up specialized test equipment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of experience in this area of responsibility, including tuning of RF circuits.
  • Set up, calibration, and operation of Phase Network Analyzer (PNA) or Vector Network Analyzer (VNA).
  • Able to work under a microscope using hand tools and measurement tools.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Experience in defense, aerospace, or military setting.
  • Current solder experience (J-STD certification).
  • Able to interpret and understand instructions, including technical drawings.
  • Preference for a team-oriented work environment, where all are focused on what matters most - our customer's needs.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Time management and organization skills.
  • Active Security Clearance.
