Job Title: Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Department

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Department to join our team. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Job Summary:
  • Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, assessing and treating patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
Responsibilities:
  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, providing timely and effective care.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and patient preferences.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patients' responses and adjusting care plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, including referrals to specialists and other healthcare services.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Emergency Department or a related field.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
