Float LPN

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Float LPN to join our team at Novant Health. As a Float LPN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with healthcare providers to assess, plan, and implement patient care plans.

Responsibilities:

• Assumes overall responsibility for patient flow within the office setting
• Obtains all outside medical records and tests results from referring physician
• Reviews patient schedule with physician and plans for clinical day
• Cleans treatment rooms and ensures proper supplies are stocked and available
• Escorts patients to treatment rooms and performs basic routine testing
• Informs patients of results of testing and ongoing treatment plan after review with physician
• Answers/triages all clinical issues as deemed appropriate by physician
• Ensures patients have follow-up testing and appointments with physician
• Develops working relationships with referring physicians

Requirements:

• Licensed Practical Nurse and Associate Degree
• Experience preferred
• Demonstrates standards of performance (ownership, teamwork, communication, compassion) that support patient satisfaction and principles of service excellence
