About the RoleThe CDL Class A Delivery Truck Driver is responsible for delivering food and related products to various locations within a local area. This role involves driving a tractor trailer or straight truck, interacting with customers, and ensuring that all safety checks and paperwork are completed accurately.
Salary: The estimated salary for this position is between $65,000 and $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job Responsibilities- Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck to deliver food and related products to various locations within a local area
- Communicate effectively with customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products
- Maintain a clean and secure vehicle, including regular safety checks and paperwork completion
- Ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations at all times
- 12 months commercial driving experience
- High school diploma/GED or state-approved equivalent
- Valid CDL A
- Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
- Must be 21 years of age
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
- Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card
