Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist

A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team in Warsaw, IN. As a Computed Tomography Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners and performing CT procedures in accordance with department policy and procedures.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Computed Tomography Technologist to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a working knowledge of general computer skills and applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT scanners and perform CT procedures in accordance with department policy and procedures.
  • Work together with physicians to perform a variety of specialized CT procedures.
  • Set up and adjust equipment to perform diagnostic procedures.
  • Position patients to obtain images of the area of interest, while respecting the patient's ability and comfort.
  • Obtain appropriate patient information for the procedure being completed.
  • Provide radiation protection to the patient, technologist, and anyone else in the area, utilizing PPE and other guidelines as needed.
  • Recognize emergent situations and activate assistance as needed.
  • Assist other areas and shifts as needed.
Requirements:
  • BLS through AHA required.
  • Licensed with the Indiana State Board of Health.
  • CT certification required.
  • Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required.
  • Previous experience in CT preferred, but not required.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of general computer skills and applications.
  • Must be able to take calls.
  • Demonstrate ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in CT preferred, but not required, or previous experience in a similar role.
  • Ability and knowledge of imaging the various anatomical structures.
