Job Summary

We are looking for a Dental Assistant who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and is committed to delivering high-quality results. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals who share your passion for delivering outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience throughout their dental journey.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of patient health histories to provide quality care.
  • Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments using state-of-the-art technology.
  • Provide superior chairside assistance to supported dentists during a wide range of procedures.
  • Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping.
  • Prepare treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA/CDC recommendations.
  • Manage supply and inventory levels, placing and expediting orders as needed.
  • Partner with providers and team members to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Oklahoma Dental Assisting School Certification.
  • Oklahoma X-Ray Certification.
  • 1+ years of experience in a dental setting.
  • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment with high patient volume.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Adaptable to a changing work environment.
  • Sense of urgency.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Team player.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year.
