We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Moe Connections. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will play a vital role in the healthcare setting, specifically in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.

Job Overview

In this position, you will operate and maintain specialized medical equipment used for diagnosing and treating heart conditions. You will support physicians and nurses during procedures, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients. This role demands a high level of technical skill and attention to detail, as well as a dedication to upholding the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain cardiac catheterization equipment
  • Assist cardiologists with diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Monitor patients during cath lab procedures
  • Prepare and position patients for angiography and other cardiac interventions
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort
  • Respond to emergency situations with efficiency and composure
  • Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the cath lab and equipment
  • Participate in ongoing training and skill development
  • Adhere to radiation safety and infection control protocols
Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in cardiovascular technology or related field
  • Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
  • Previous experience in a cardiac cath lab or interventional cardiology setting
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and cardiac medications
  • Comprehensive understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology
  • Ability to interpret EKGs and hemodynamic data
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
