Position Summary

The Warehouse Operations Specialist is essential in facilitating the efficient movement of products within our warehouse and ensuring timely deliveries to our customers. This dynamic role requires an individual who excels in a fast-paced setting and is comfortable with the physical demands associated with warehouse and delivery operations.

Core Responsibilities

  • Accurately assemble orders based on load tickets, ensuring careful handling and movement of products to uphold date code accuracy and rotation standards.
  • Adhere to warehouse best practices and safety protocols while striving to meet productivity targets.
  • Efficiently stage completed pallets in designated areas for smooth loading into delivery vehicles.
  • Safely load and unload products from delivery vehicles using various methods such as liftgates, carts, hand trucks, or pallet jacks.
  • Operate commercial vehicles with professionalism, performing thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections while navigating congested areas with limited space.
  • Follow instructions accurately and utilize technology to manage truck inventory, check in products at retail locations, and ensure balanced inventory at the end of each shift.
  • Employ barcode scanners to verify delivered products and manage returned items as necessary.
  • Proactively stock retailer shelves during deliveries to prevent out-of-stock situations.
  • Maintain open communication with Distribution and Operations Managers to accommodate any necessary schedule adjustments for deliveries or pickups.
  • Comply with local, state, and federal regulations as well as company policies, ensuring all administrative tasks are completed promptly.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age or meet the minimum state legal age requirements.
  • Ability to lift products weighing between 25 lbs. and 50 lbs. regularly.
  • Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience.
  • Flexible availability to work any required shift.
  • Forklift certification and capability to operate manual/powered pallet jacks.
  • Must successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
  • Must be DOT compliant or achieve DOT compliance prior to employment.

Education

High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required.
