Computed Tomography Technologist II

Job Summary:

The Computed Tomography Technologist II is a journey level position that independently performs a wide range of CT exams and procedures, producing, assessing, and evaluating images and related data used by physicians to render medical diagnoses of diseases and injuries. This role requires moderate proficiency in performing all general and Angiography exams, competently performing trauma exams, assisting with special procedures, and mentoring lower-level CT Techs.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited technologist program.
  • One (1) year of experience as a Radiology Technologist I or Six (6) months of experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist.
  • Current American Registry of Radiological Technologist (A.R.R.T.) registration at time of appointment and for continued employment.
  • Current Computed Tomography Certification at time of appointment and for continued employment.
  • Alaska Fluoroscopy Users certification must be obtained within one month of hire.
Internal Hires:

Pay rate will be determined based on applicable personnel rule or union contract terms.
