Position SummaryThis is a full-time role requiring 40 hours per week, with responsibilities spanning multiple locations. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The individual in this position will manage front desk personnel across four sites and will address daily operational inquiries, oversee end-of-day financial processes, and coordinate staff schedules, including the physician on-call roster.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate the operational activities of the practice in collaboration with the practice administrator and/or medical director.
- Oversee staff supervision, recruitment, training, mentoring, and scheduling.
- Assist in the formulation and execution of policies and procedures.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of patient needs within the RMG system to ensure effective and efficient care delivery, including resolving issues as they arise.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of CPT and ICD coding, as well as health insurance billing processes. This role is essential to the leadership of the practice.
Required:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical office setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred:
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience or equivalent background.
- An associate's degree in a business or healthcare-related discipline.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Exceptional interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to assess situations requiring interpreter services and utilize them effectively.
- Comprehensive understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, PPO, and private insurance protocols.
- Familiarity with ICD-9 and CPT coding systems.
- Experience with practice management software and data entry.
