Position Summary:

As an Independent Optometrist leasing space inside Walmart stores, you will take a leading role in patient care with respect to eye and vision care as well as general health and well-being. You will have the autonomy to establish your days of practice, hours of operation, patient schedule, and fee schedule, while keeping 100% of exam/professional fees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality eye and vision care services to patients
  • Establish and maintain a private practice within the Walmart store
  • Manage patient scheduling and fee collection
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school
  • Valid state optometry license
  • General Liability Certificate
  • Professional Liability Insurance Certificate
  • W-9
