Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatric Registered Nurse to oversee the health and medical needs of children from infancy through adolescence. In this role, you will assess symptoms, review medical histories, provide initial care, administer prescribed medications, and monitor patient progress. You will also support families, addressing their concerns and providing guidance throughout the treatment process.

The ideal candidate for the Pediatric RN position should possess the ability to communicate effectively with children, especially in moments of distress when they may struggle to articulate their health issues. Responsibilities will include conducting physical assessments, collecting vital statistics, performing diagnostic tests, and managing care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Engage with children to gather health information for accurate diagnosis and maintain thorough documentation of symptoms and medical histories.
  2. Evaluate and address the needs of pediatric patients, providing immediate care as necessary.
  3. Recognize and respond to changes in symptoms, intervening during emergencies.
  4. Assist in managing pain for pediatric patients.

  6. Monitor vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure, while maintaining precise records.
  7. Assess for indicators of abuse and provide supportive care for critically ill children.
  8. Support families in coping with their child's health challenges and address parental anxieties.

Qualifications:
