eTeam Inc is currently seeking a travel nurse RN for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a travel nursing capacity.

Role Responsibilities:
As a travel nurse, you will be accountable to the Unit Director or Manager for the overall nursing practice. Your primary duties will include:

  • Delivering professional nursing care to address critical health issues, adhering to the standards set by the American Association of Critical Care Nursing (AACN).
  • Conducting patient assessments, developing care plans, implementing nursing interventions, and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided.
  • Recognizing and responding to cardiac arrhythmias and emergency situations with appropriate actions.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited registered nurse program is required.
  • Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are necessary, with renewals every two years.
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is required.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to function effectively as part of a team and serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare staff.
  • Strong verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and emotional resilience when interacting with patients and their families.

Position Details:
Shifts will include days with every other weekend required. A minimum of 2 years of experience is expected, with a guarantee of 36 hours per week.
