Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at Trinity Health Of New England. As a Nursing Assistant in our Cardiac Care unit, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals with congestive heart failure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and report patient information and data to ensure accurate and timely care.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, diet, fluid intake, skin care, bathing, and dressing.
  • Transport patients safely and efficiently to various locations within the hospital.
  • Collect specimens and distribute linens and supplies to patient rooms as needed.
  • Deliver ice and beverages to patients and provide emotional support and comfort.
  • Monitor patient safety and provide additional support as assigned by nursing staff.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of a Connecticut-approved Nurse Aide Training Program preferred.
  • Proof of college transcript or significant nurse assistant/healthcare-related experience required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant in an acute care setting preferred.
  • Ability to pass drug screening and background check.
