Caregiver Assistant

Village Caregiving is seeking dedicated and compassionate caregivers to provide in-home support to veterans and seniors in the Mid-Ohio Valley area.

We offer flexible schedules and a family-like atmosphere to support our caregivers in their roles. Our goal is to provide the best possible care for our clients while also ensuring our caregivers feel valued and engaged.

• Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Help clients take prescribed medication and complete physical therapy exercises
• Accompany clients on outings and provide companionship
• Perform light housekeeping duties and prepare meals
• Collect information about clients' conditions and treatment plans
• Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors, and family members

• Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required
• Current CPR certification
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Respectful and compassionate demeanor with good communication skills
