Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care, including medication administration, personal hygiene assistance, and mobility support.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and provide timely reporting.
  • Review and update service plans, noting any changes in residents' conditions.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow caregivers.
  • Ensure a clean and welcoming environment for residents.
  • Encourage resident participation in activities and provide support as needed.
  • Communicate professionally with residents, families, staff, and external service providers.
  • Perform various household tasks, including laundry and cleaning.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in senior care.
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certification required.
  • Must possess a valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • TB clearance required prior to employment.
  • Food Handlers card must be obtained within 20 days of hire.
  • Commitment to ongoing education, with a minimum of 6 to 12 hours of care-related training annually.

Job Type: Full-time

Work Schedule:

  • 12-hour shifts
  • Evening and Night shifts
  • Weekend availability required

Experience Required:

  • 1 year of caregiving experience preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
