Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Emerald Health Services. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine imaging procedures, demonstrating anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by licensed practitioners, and exercising professional judgment in the performance of services.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including bone scans, gastric emptying, VQ, HIDA scans, and others.
  • Demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by licensed practitioners.
  • Exercise professional judgment in the performance of services and maintain a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.
  • Apply appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine.
  • BLS certification.
  • CNMT or R.T. (N) (ARRT) certification.
  • Meditech preferred.
  • NMTCB preferred.
  • Electronic documentation preferred.
