Hydrostatic Pressure Tester

We are seeking a skilled Hydrostatic Pressure Tester to join our team in Taneytown, MD. As a key member of our manufacturing facility, you will be responsible for assembling rotating equipment and working on a diverse range of product lines.

• Perform hydrostatic pressure testing of pumps, valves, seals, and pump components to ensure integrity of parts prior to final shipment.
• Assemble and disassemble precision pumps per bill of materials, cross-sectional drawings, and operation method sheets.
• Utilize precision measuring equipment and interpret blueprints while working in both English and Metric systems.
• Fits parts such as casings, casing covers, impellers, seals, and installs piping plans to match drawings.
• Operate overhead and jib cranes to lift and move heavy parts.

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years' experience in general mechanics or specialized training
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and drawings
• Ability to read and comprehend precision measuring equipment
• Ability to use a wide variety of hand, power, and air tools
